Derik Jakusz

Derik joined EMTS after a 30+ year career working with his dad and their family landscape business and owning his own various landscape companies. Derik started his career doing basic landscape, once he had the knowledge and experience he started his own landscape maintenance company. Derik took the first six years after high school to join the Army then National Guard; and start his family. After dedicating his time to his country, Derik rejoined the family business. In 2014, the family maintenance business was sold, keeping the fertilization and weed control businesses which continued through 2017 until Derik decided it was time to try something new and sold his business and joined EMTS. He started as an Account Manager and is now the General Manager; working with his team to become the best vendor our maintenance accounts have ever worked with.
